The Challenge

Canton Data Challenges

Isolated Data

Data isolation prevents global indexing, creating visibility gaps for participants across the network.

Fragmented Data

Each app defines unique data structures, requiring custom parsers for every integration.

No Standardization

The ecosystem lacks standardized classification systems for Canton Network activity.

The Solution

Every ledger event, decoded and ready to query

Indexing & classification

Active Contract Set processing in real time. Every transfer, reward, fee, lock, and merge tagged with a semantic type — the same schema Noves uses on public chains.

Party Tagging

Map raw Canton party IDs to human labels. Tracked vs. rollup classification, org-level visibility, and tags that propagate through every report and export.

Streams & Alerts

Webhooks and WebSockets for real-time events. Balance thresholds, transfer rules, reward notifications — delivered to whatever you already run.

OIDC passthrough auth

Auth0, Keycloak, or any OIDC provider. Backend never holds credentials — JWTs go straight through to Canton. Reuse your Canton Wallet accounts.

Open deployment

Three Docker containers. Compose or Kubernetes. Runs on your network alongside your validator. Optional Fluent Bit sidecar for traffic cost analysis.

Point-in-time history

Balances and activity at any moment, with locked/unlocked splits. Resumable historical backfills for audit, tax, and reporting pipelines.

Public Data

Looking for public data?

Access publicly observable Canton data without running a node

While most on-chain activity on Canton is private-by-default, a growing volume of network metadata — validator activity, rewards, public transfers, and aggregate network stats — is publicly observable. The Noves Public Canton APIs expose that data as a hosted, standards-based REST surface so teams can explore, build, and report without standing up infrastructure.

Transactions arrive with the same semantic classification used by the Data App, so integrations port cleanly between public and private deployments as your footprint grows.

What you get

  • Hosted REST endpoints — no node, no infra, no indexer to run
  • Classified Canton activity with the same schema used across Noves products
  • Validator and participant activity, rewards, public transfers
  • Identical response shapes to the self-hosted Data App for portable integrations
  • Built for pipelines, dashboards, explorers, and research

Need full private coverage? Run the Noves Data App inside your perimeter for permission-aware access to every transaction you are entitled to see.

Faith, DevOps Engineer at ChainSafe
Before the Noves Data App, we lacked visibility into our Canton validator ops and activities of different party IDs. Now, we can easily visualize transactions and monitor validator activity in one place.
